Welcome to The Silk Routee Resort & Spa. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, your bookings, and your stay or visit at The Silk Routee Resort & Spa, located at G. No. 696/1, Near Shamdar Mandir, Eklahare Village, Manchar, Pune, Maharashtra – 410503 (“the Resort,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

By browsing our website, making a booking, or visiting the Resort, you (“guest,” “you,” “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before booking. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, we request that you refrain from using our website or services.

1. Bookings and Reservations

• Bookings can be made directly through our website, by phone or email, or through our authorized third-party booking partners (such as Booking.com, EaseMyTrip, or similar platforms).
• A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation from us via email, message, or call, along with any applicable advance payment.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at the time of booking, including guest names, contact details, and number of occupants.
• Bookings are made in good faith for genuine use by you and your invited guests only, and must not be used for resale, unauthorized listing on third-party sites, or speculative/fraudulent reservations.
• Room categories, rates, and availability are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed.

2. Check-In and Check-Out

• Standard check-in and check-out times will be communicated at the time of booking or upon confirmation. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
• A valid government-issued photo identification (such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence) is mandatory for all adult guests at check-in, in accordance with applicable regulations. PAN cards alone are not accepted as valid ID proof.
• Foreign nationals are required to present a valid passport and visa at check-in.
• The Resort reserves the right to refuse check-in or accommodation if valid identification is not provided, or if the booking details do not match the guest(s) presenting themselves.
• Rooms are allotted based on the category booked and are subject to availability; the Resort may offer a comparable alternative room where the originally booked category is unavailable.

3. Payments

• Full or partial advance payment may be required to confirm a booking, as communicated at the time of reservation.
• Balance payments, where applicable, must be cleared at check-in or as specified in your booking confirmation.
• We accept payments through the modes specified during booking (such as cards, UPI, or bank transfer). Payment processing is handled through secure third-party payment gateways.
• Any additional services availed during your stay (extra meals, spa services, laundry, activities not included in your package, etc.) must be settled before check-out.
• All applicable taxes (including GST) will be charged in addition to the quoted tariff unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

• Cancellation and refund terms vary depending on the room type, package, or offer booked, and will be specified at the time of booking.
• Bookings made under special offers, discounted packages, or promotional rates may be non-refundable or non-transferable, as specified for that offer.
• In the event of a no-show without prior communication, the Resort reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and levy applicable charges, including forfeiture of advance payment.
• Any date changes or modifications to a confirmed booking are subject to availability and may be treated as a fresh booking, governed by the cancellation policy applicable at that time.

5. Guest Conduct and House Rules

• Guests are expected to maintain decorum, hygiene, and courtesy towards other guests, staff, and Resort property throughout their stay.
• The Resort does not accommodate bachelor/bachelorette parties or similar events.
• Outside food and beverages are not permitted within the Resort premises unless expressly approved by the management.
• Guests are responsible for the conduct of their accompanying members and invitees, and for any damage caused to Resort property, furnishings, or equipment during their stay, which will be charged at applicable rates.
• The Resort reserves the right to deny entry, refuse service, or evict any guest whose conduct is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of these Terms, without refund.
• Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or any illegal activity is permitted only in designated areas and subject to applicable law; underage consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited.

6. Pets

• Pets are welcome at the Resort, subject to prior intimation and any applicable charges.
• Pet owners are solely responsible for their pets’ behavior and for any damage, disturbance, or injury caused by their pets during the stay.
• Pets must be kept under control at all times and should not cause a nuisance to other guests.

7. Children

• Children of all ages are welcome at the Resort. Guests must accurately disclose the number and ages of accompanying children at the time of booking, as this may affect room allotment and pricing.
• Cribs and extra beds are not available; please plan room requirements accordingly.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of children at all times, including around the swimming pool, activity areas, and open grounds.

8. Facilities and Activities

• Access to facilities such as the swimming pool, spa, cycle track, running track, cricket turf, badminton court, indoor gaming zone, and rain dance arena is subject to Resort timings, seasonal availability, and any applicable usage guidelines communicated on-site.
• Certain activities may carry inherent risks. Guests participate in all recreational activities at their own risk, and are expected to follow safety instructions provided by Resort staff.
• The Resort reserves the right to restrict or modify access to any facility for maintenance, safety, weather, or operational reasons, without prior notice.

9. Dining

• The Resort’s in-house restaurant, Aatvik, is a pure vegetarian establishment. Non-vegetarian food and beverages are not permitted on the premises.
• Guests with specific dietary requirements or allergies should inform the Resort in advance; while we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens in shared kitchen environments.

10. Weddings, Banquets, and Events

• Bookings for weddings, banquets, or private events are subject to a separate quotation, guest-count confirmation, and advance payment as agreed with our events team.
• Billing for events is based on the guaranteed minimum guest count or actual attendance, whichever is higher, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Any décor, catering, or vendor arrangements outside the agreed package will be charged additionally.
• The Resort is not responsible for arrangements made independently by the client with third-party vendors, and any disputes with such vendors are the sole responsibility of the client.
• Event organizers are responsible for the conduct of their guests and vendors and for any damage caused to Resort property during the event.

11. Liability

• The Resort takes reasonable care for the safety and security of guests and their belongings; however, the Resort shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, valuables, or vehicles left unattended on the premises.
• The Resort shall not be liable for any injury, accident, illness, or loss arising from a guest’s participation in recreational activities, use of the swimming pool, or any circumstances beyond the Resort’s reasonable control.
• Nothing in these Terms limits the Resort’s liability where such limitation is not permitted under applicable Indian law.

12. CCTV and Security

• For the safety of guests, staff, and property, CCTV surveillance operates in common and public areas of the Resort. CCTV is not installed in guest rooms, washrooms, or other private areas. Further details are available in our Privacy Policy.

13. Force Majeure

The Resort shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or other events of force majeure. In such circumstances, the Resort will make reasonable efforts to reschedule bookings or offer alternative arrangements where possible.

14. Website Use and Intellectual Property

• All content on our website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of The Silk Routee Resort & Spa and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.
• You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information when making enquiries or bookings.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our policies, services, or applicable law. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, a booking, or your stay shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra, or resolved through mutually agreed arbitration, at the Resort’s discretion.
