Resort Cancellation, Refund & Booking Policy

At The Silk Routee Resort & Spa, Manchar, we understand that plans may change. Our cancellation and booking policies are designed to provide clarity to our guests while ensuring smooth reservation management.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancellation Within 15 Days of Booking
   Guests may cancel their confirmed booking within 15 days from the date of booking and will be eligible for a 70% refund of the amount paid.
2. Cancellation After 15 Days from Booking Date
   For cancellations made after 15 days from the date of booking, the booking amount may be converted into a booking credit, subject to the resort’s applicable terms and availability.
3. Booking Credit Validity
   Any approved booking credit will remain valid for 3 months from the original check-in date and may be used to reschedule the stay.
4. Rescheduling
   Guests may request to reschedule their stay within the booking-credit validity period, subject to room availability, applicable rates, blackout dates, and other resort terms.
5. Medical Emergency
   In the event of a genuine medical emergency, the management may consider a refund or booking credit upon submission of appropriate supporting medical documentation.
6. Refund Processing
   Approved refunds will generally be processed within 7–10 working days from the date of approval.
7. Refund Method
   Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking.
8. Transaction & Bank Charges
   In case of an approved refund, applicable bank, payment gateway, transaction, or processing charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.
9. No-Show
   If a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice, the reservation will be treated as a No-Show, and the booking amount may be non-refundable.
10. Management Discretion
    The management reserves the right to review and make the final decision regarding cancellations, refunds, booking credits, and exceptional circumstances.
11. High-Occupancy & Sold-Out Dates
    The resort reserves the right to apply separate cancellation conditions for sold-out dates, peak-season dates, festivals, holidays, special events, wedding bookings, group bookings, and high-occupancy periods. Such conditions will be communicated at the time of booking wherever applicable.

Important Note

Cancellation eligibility is calculated from the original booking date, not from the check-in date. Guests wishing to avail themselves of the 70% refund must submit their cancellation request within 15 days from the date of booking.

Booking Policy

1. Room Rates
   Room rates may vary depending on the room category, season, date of stay, special occasions, demand, and availability.
2. Advance Payment
   To confirm a reservation, a 50% advance payment of the total booking amount is required. A reservation will not be considered confirmed until the required advance payment has been received.
3. Balance Payment
   The remaining 50% balance is payable upon arrival at the resort, unless otherwise specified in the booking confirmation.
4. Payment Methods
   The resort accepts major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers, subject to availability and applicable payment terms.
5. Early Check-In & Late Check-Out
   Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges. Guests are requested to contact the resort in advance for such requests.
6. Pet Policy
   Pets may be permitted at the resort subject to prior approval and applicable additional charges. Guests are requested to confirm the pet policy before arrival.
7. Special Bookings
   Wedding, corporate, group, event, promotional, package, and special-rate bookings may be subject to separate payment, cancellation, refund, and rescheduling terms.
8. Terms & Conditions
   By making a reservation, the guest acknowledges and agrees to the resort’s applicable Booking, Cancellation, Refund, and Terms & Conditions.
